Life School (Creative) is open 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Alternate Saturdays are community days when we have regular meditation and other forms of self-work and teaching/learning. The centre is open from 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM on these Saturdays for parents, students and teachers to use the library resources, engage in artwork, and physical activities. We also have monthly learning activities that guide us in holistic living.

We do not have a uniform. Parents are required to take care to ensure appropriateness and simplicity in the child’s dress. We encourage
expression of festivities via traditional dresses on days of celebration.
Food is provided at the centre. Please do not pack a special meal for your child unless a dietary requirement has already been discussed. All students and teachers eat together. A healthy and balanced (as much as possible – organic) vegetarian diet is provided. The school provides a healthy morning snack at
9:00 AM, fruit snack at 11:00 AM and lunch at 12:45 PM. The children experience and internalize healthy eating habits by simply being in Life School.
Please refer to Policies of the School, for more details.
The school has three terms running from June to March. There are usually two breaks of about 10-12 days each in September/October and December. For the holiday list 2013-2014, click here.

Admission into Life School is a pathway of growth for the entire family. A child’s education includes families and teachers. Education is learning for life. Children’s Life University provides learning and healing space for families to nourish and grow themselves in all aspects of life. Parents are actively involved with the centre in mapping out this partnership. Admissions decisions are made after conversations with parents and children. We hope you can find a space for your family at Children’s Life University.
At the time of admission, we expect payment of admission charges, the first instalment of tuition (dependent on the option you choose) and an advance for food charges. We also need a doctor’s certificate with all necessary details about your child’s health before the start of the school.
